All firearms purchased via our site must either be collected in store, or we can ship firearms and moderators to your local RFD (Registered Firearms Dealer) - you can collect from there. See below for more details.

On collection, you will be expected to show appropriate photo ID (for non FAC firearms) or a valid firearms certificate.

Please ensure correct contact information is provided with your order so we can efficiently communicate with you about the delivery of your order.

The correct shipping rate (ship to RFD) must be selected at checkout or we cannot dispatch your goods.

 RFD to RFD Transfer

(Registered Firearms Dealer)

We offer an RFD-to-RFD transfer, meaning we can ship your chosen gun to your local gun shop whether it be a shotgun, rifle, air rifle or air pistol. There is a £35 shipping fee and handling fee.

The first thing for us to do is exchange our RFD license with your local gun shop making sure they are happy to receive the gun. If it is a non-licenced weapon that is all that is needed. Licensed weapons, whether section 1 or section 2, are a little more in depth.

In addition to letting us know the contact details of your local gun shop,  you must send your firearms license to us - (this should be done by Recorded Delivery only) – we will fill out the relevant parts, complete your paperwork and your transfer form, for you to send to your firearms licensing department. (This is because whoever is receiving payment for the firearms or shotgun must enter it on to the license making sure the correct slots are available for any section 1 products.)  We will then send all paperwork back to you Recorded Delivery via Royal Mail and the weapon will go on a 24hr service with parcel force to your chosen RFD.

Schultz & Larsen M97-DL Classic Forest Laminate .243

Schultz & Larsen M97-DL Classic Forest Laminate .243

In the Schultz & Larsen range, the Classic is the working rifle, an ideal choice for everyday use and hard work.    The action of the Classic has a surface treatment that shrugs off the worst the weather can do.  The bolt handle is dovetailed solidly into the bolt and the three lug low lift bolt locks solidly into the barrel.

The Classic stock features a straight comb without a cheek piece and is slim and comfortable whilst being light to carry.

Scope Mounting

The top of the Classic action is milled to accept the Schultz & Larsen ‘Slide & Lock” scope mounts, incorporating Summer and Winter scope position.  For those who prefer a different mount, the action is drilled and tapped to accept Weaver or other bases.  The radius of the action is 17mm and the hole spacing 22mm

Sling Swivels

There are two sling swivel studs pre-fitted to the Classic. One is at the rear, on the bottom of the stock in front of the recoil pad, and one on the forearm.

Switch Barrel System

The Classic has a switch barrel system allowing the barrel to be changed for any other in its calibre group with just a simple wrench.  The standard bolt can be used with all calibres in the standard calibre group but if changing to a Magnum calibre you will need to change the bolt.

Safe Construction

Safety has top priority with all locking parts designed and tested to withstand at least three times normal load.  In the case of an overload resulting in a primer blow-out or case rupture, the high pressure gas can escape through holes in the front of the action and on the side of the bolt.  This, coupled with the extremely tight fit of the bolt and action, ensures that the shooter is not injured.

The safety catch is three position and locks the bolt and blocks the firing pin.  The centre position allows unloading of the rifle whilst the safety is engaged.

he Classic Bolt

The bolt lift is 60º making it a fast an effective mechanism. The perfectly machined bolt glides into the action effortlessly and locks into the barrel once closed. The Classic's bolt handle is a straight arm, dovetailed into the bolt body. There are two variations of bolt, one is typically marked "S" for Standard Calibres and the other is marked "M" for Magnum Calibres.
