The pistol-grip stock and Schnabel forend of the 686 Silver Pigeon I Sporting are manufactured from grade-2 oil-finished walnut wood and are finely chequered for improved grip, even in the rain. The stock is adjustable thanks to the B-Fast® technology, the stock adjustment tool developed by Beretta. With a simple and intelligent design, it provides several adjustment options in height, drop, cast and rotation. The 2024 Silver Pigeon I Sporting version features polished stainless-steel trigger, for enhanced durability. The selector is located on top of the safety tang, allowing the user to select the barrel for the first shot with a simple, rapid sideways movement. The 686 Silver Pigeon I Sporting features Steelium® Optimabore® HP barrels with high-strength steel Optimachoke® HP chokes, for smoother ballistics that help reduce recoil and muzzle rise effect, ensuring perfect, dense and uniform patterns with any type of ammunition: lead, steel and High-Performance steel.
